My daughter and also son have a variety of different toys to pick from. I think that as a parent sometimes you think that the more you may spend the more fun the kids will have while playing with the toy. My spouse and I have found ourselves buying them toys which are either too complicated, break easily or aren’t fun adequate to be played with more often than once. I’m very happy to state that my kids play kitchen wasn’t one of these toys and games!
For one Christmas we made a decision to experiment by getting a kids play kitchen. I remember having one in my childhood kindergarten class and also since I don’t remember playing with anything else I figured it absolutely was my favorite activity. I would have been a bit hesitant to purchase one because I didn’t would like it to end up being another plaything they didn’t enjoy as well as ended up in our downstairs room.
Christmas day approached and as usual the kids had too many playthings to choose from. They invested the first day playing with everything for a couple of minutes at a time. The kids play kitchen was well accepted however because of the vast majority of other toys there was to play with, it was set aside. The following day we woke up early to the sound of pans and pots banging. My daughter and son were having a great time making breakfast for mom and dad. We were both happy that they enjoyed their own gift but presumed that eventually they’d tire of it. I was happily mistaken!
As time passed we saw our kids produce a variety of different meal creations in their play kitchen. They would play and pretend they were owning a restaurant or simply playing house. My favored memory is the time that they actually tried to make real eggs in their play kitchen. It was for Mother’s Day and it truly was among the sweetest and messiest things they’ve ever done.
When other kids would come to visit they’d also gravitate on the kitchen. There’s something over it that just drives kids imagination. Maybe it’s the undeniable fact that it lets them pretend to be dad and mom for a while or just because it’s a basic enough toy that they can let their imagination run wild. Whatever the reason why, we have found that it’s a toy that gets played with over and over. We’re delighted we made a good investment and bought them a fun toy that they can enjoy for years to come.
